Magazine Info

Everybody’s is the ultimate magazine depicting wider popular culture in Australia during the swinging 60s.

It’s covers always featured the biggest stars of the day, and it’s pictorial content covered everything from lifestyle and fashion to contemporary views on current affairs, complemented by bold and colourful advertising.

Also included with Everybody’s each week was Disc magazine - at the time, Australia’s only national pop music review.

Like many other magazines from the period, more liberal attitudes towards sexuality affected Everybody’s content in the late 60s, but to a much lesser extent than other popular Australian magazines – as its name suggests, Everybody’s was a magazine for everybody.
