Reviews, gossip, and interviews with entertainment’s biggest stars feature strongly in the UK produced Picturegoer.
From Sandra Dee to Charlton Heston, Picturegoer concentrated mainly on the latest films and their stars, but also featured music reviews and gossip, including a regular column by the one and only Cliff Richard.
With “hip” sketched advertisements aimed at the teenage market, Picturegoer is an excellent signpost for popular culture during the 1950s and 60s.
